Lavalava is the Samoan word 2- to 3-yard length of cloth used as a wrap or tie, or to belt garment on men and women. In Hawaii, this garment is sometimes called pau, kikepa, or pareu, but it can also used as a bundle wrap, beach mat, curtain, bed cover, and more.
